Drug Raid Seizes Heroin, Crack Cocaine With 2 Glen Burnie Men Arrested

Two Glen Burnie men face drug and weapons charges after police seized heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana in a raid.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Narcotics investigators reportedly seized heroin, crack cocaine and other drugs worth roughly $1,600 Thursday during a raid on a Glen Burnie house. Two local men face various drug and weapons charges after the Anne Arundel County Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Morningside Road in Glen Burnie.

During a search of the residence police reportedly found and seized:

  • 48 capsules each containing a mixture of suspected heroin/fentanyl 14.1 grams with an estimated street value of $960
  • Two plastic bags containing suspected crack cocaine 5.0 grams with an estimated street value of $500
  • Various prescription pills
  • 20 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $200
  • Beretta .22 caliber handgun with two boxes of bullets

  • James Andrew Colie, 23, of the 400 block of Morningside Drive in Glen Burnie, was charged with possession of CDS (heroin, fentanyl, crack, and prescription pills) and possession of CDS with intent to distribute (heroin, fentanyl crack, and prescription pills).
  • Allen Keith Johnson, of the 1600 block of Tieman Drive in Glen Burnie, was charged with possession of marijuana, illegal possession of ammunition while prohibited, and illegal possession of regulated firearm while prohibited.
