Everyone is invited to share the joy of sailing on the Chesapeake Bay on our Freedom sailboats skippered by our trained volunteers who may even let you take the tiller. Our boats are equipped with special seats for the disabled; the docks are wheelchair and scooter accessible. And we have devices to get physically challenged individuals aboard if needed. It is wonderful to watch the expression on the face of a young child who is blind steering a boat out on the Bay or sharing the freedom felt by someone with a physical disability who never thought they could do something like sail a boat.
