The Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council is sponsoring a conference on sustainable landscaping on Friday, December 2. Conference tracks will cover the art of sustainable landscape design as well as advances in stormwater technology and new online native plant resources. Speakers will also discuss how edible plants can contribute to the landscape and how communities can work to improve water quality in streams. The conference will be held at the Doubletree Willow Valley Resort in Lancaster, PA from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. The $99 fee ($119 after November 1) covers admission to the conference, an EcoMarketplace, educational displays and food.
