Fall From Balcony Critically Injures Annapolis Area Resident
A woman fell 15 feet from a balcony onto rocks on Nottingham Hill in the Annapolis area Thursday and was critically injured.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis woman was critically injured Thursday when she fell from a balcony at a home near Annapolis, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Firefighters were called to the 200 block of Nottingham Hill just before 7 p.m. to treat the woman injured from a fall.
Paramedics found a 69-year-old woman who had fallen about 15 feet from a balcony onto rocks. A Maryland State Police medevac helicopter was requested and landed at the Rolling Knolls Elementary School.
The woman was flown by helicopter to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries.
