FBI Joins Hunt for Annapolis Murder Suspect, Offers $10K Reward

A Baltimore man was killed in July on an Annapolis street; the FBI has issued a $10,000 reward for tips that lead to the shooter's arrest.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Investigators were out in an Annapolis neighborhood Friday distributing flyers in an effort to find leads in the murder of a Baltimore man this summer. The Federal Bureau of Investigation joined Annapolis Police in the canvass, and has offered a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person who fatally shot Charles E. Carroll Jr., 25, of Baltimore.

FBI agents from the Baltimore office and Annapolis officers passed out flyers on Royal Street in Annapolis. They're trying to turn up new information in the death of Carroll, whose vehicle crashed into a building after he was fatally shot July 28 on the street.

Annapolis Police officers received reports of shots fired in the 900 block of Royal Street that day. They found Carroll — the vehicle's driver and only occupant — was injured by a gunshot. Carroll was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
