Heroin, Crack Cocaine Found on Suspect: Police

A man wanted on a warrant for assault now faces drug trafficking charges after he was arrested in the Freetown Village area.

PASADENA, MD — A man sought by Anne Arundel County Police on an arrest warrant for assault now faces additional charges for drug trafficking.

Detectives were in the Freetown Village community Dec. 18 looking for Myung Edward Presbury, 23, of West Cold Spring Lane in Baltimore, who had an open arrest warrant for an assault. They found the suspect in the 7800 block of Levy Court.

When detectives approached Presbury to arrest him, he continually tried to reach into the front of his pants, but was restrained by the detectives.

A search of Presbury revealed that he had a plastic bag concealed in the front of his pants with several illicit drugs. Police say Presbury was carrying 35 baggies of crack cocaine, 15 baggies of heroin and one bag of marijuana, along with $650 in cash.

Presbury was charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin.
