Machete-Wielding Man Threatened To Bring Gun To Annapolis Bar
An Annapolis man reportedly swung a machete at employees of Acme Bar & Grill and threatened to return with a gun, police say.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man is in jail after allegedly using a machete and bamboo stick to threaten employees at an Annapolis sport bar, and threatening to return with a gun. Mark Graves, 58, of Annapolis, was arrested Tuesday night at Acme Bar & Grill, 163 Main St.
According to Annapolis Police, Graves threatened employees with a machete, and was asked to leave the restaurant and escorted outside. He reportedly tried to assault the victims and made threats that he would return with a gun.
The police report says Graves returned to the bar and approached the employees while swinging a machete and making threats to assault the victims. He then put the machete in his vehicle but returned with a large piece of bamboo that he also swung at the workers.

Graves was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and disorderly conduct. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
