Man Arrested after Semi-Auto Rifle, Stun Guns Found in Vehicle
The Crofton suspect, who police say is prohibited from having firearms for previous incidents, was at an Annapolis McDonald's.

A Crofton man faces charges after police found a semi-automatic rifle, stun guns and a facemask inside the vehicle at an Annapolis area McDonald’s restaurant.
Anne Arundel County Police were checking businesses in Annapolis’ West Street corridor Friday afternoon. During the checks, an officer located a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the McDonald’s at 1941 West St.

Police say the officer was given permission to search the vehicle, which turned up a small amount of marijuana, an AR-15 style .22 caliber rifle with ammunition, two stun guns and a face mask. Investigators checked an online database and found the driver was prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition due to a prior crime of violence.
The driver -- Jesse Spielman of 1700 block of Shaftsburg Court in Crofton – was arrested. He has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, and a civil charge for possession of marijuana, according to police.
