A man already wanted by authorities for probation violations was arrested early Friday morning for allegedly knocking a pedestrian to the ground and robbing him.
Annapolis Police say the assault occurred about 2:42 a.m. on Bay Ridge Avenue near Madison Street. The suspect, Michael Davis, 26, of Annapolis, reportedly punched a man in the head and face, knocking him down. Davis demanded the victim’s phone, but fled after taking money from the pedestrian, police said. Davis then rejoined a group of men he was walking with as he fled the area.
