National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week
The Annapolis Police Department thanks our dedicated Police Dispatchers and recognizes their hard work and the professionalism they display throughout the year. Officers are out in the community and seen patrolling the streets 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Remember when you see our officers that there are dispatchers working too. Dispatchers are the first to answer a call for help and ensure that officers respond rapidly to emergencies. Dispatchers make the same decision our officers make to give up a “normal” work schedule in order to serve our community.
