Man Faces Drug Charges After Chase: Annapolis Police Reports
Also, the Annapolis Police Department says a handicap card was stolen from a vehicle and a dog was taken from a house.

Felony Drug Arrest – Officers arrested a convicted felon with drugs and a loaded handgun. On 01/25 at 6:55pm an officer stopped a vehicle at Hilltop Lane and Elliott Road for failing to stop at a stop sign. A K9 scan on the vehicle yielded positive alert. One of the vehicle’s passengers, William Pindell, 40, of Annapolis allegedly assaulted an officer and fled on foot. There was a short foot chase and struggle with officers before Pindell was taken into custody. Subsequent investigation resulted in recovery of cocaine, heroin, and a loaded handgun. Pindell was charged with a variety of drug and weapons related offenses and is being held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
Theft from Vehicle – 1200 block of Madison St – 01/22 at 3:30pm to 01/23 at 8:45am: A handicap placard was stolen from inside a vehicle left with the window partially down.
Theft from Vehicle – 1000 block of Kensington Way – 01/24 from 7:45 pm to 8:40pm: The front passenger side window of the vehicle was smashed and a black Carhartt wallet left on the passenger seat was stolen.
Burglary – 1300 block of Tyler Av – 01/25 from 11:30am to 7:30pm: A 2 year old Shih Tzu dog in a cage was stolen from an apparently unlocked home.
