Man Steals Seafood, Detergent, Arrested Twice In 1 Hour: Police
Annapolis police arrested the same man two times within an hour. They say he stole seafood and laundry detergent.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police arrested an Annapolis man two times within an hour on Sunday. They charged the resident, Damion Tyrone Joyce, with theft in both encounters.
The first incident came around 8:15 a.m. when police responded to a theft in progress in the 500 block of Cherry Grove Avenue. Officers arrested Joyce, 24, as he left the store.
Police charged Joyce with stealing $137 worth of laundry detergent. After receiving a ticket, officers released the man.

About 45 minutes later, Annapolis police were called to the 1700 block of Forest Drive for another ongoing theft. This time, the suspect stole an assortment of seafood valued $193.44, police say.
Officers again arrested Joyce, charging him with the crime as he left the store. This time, police took Joyce to their central booking office.

Joyce was released on recognizance soon after. The Maryland court system does not yet list his date.
