• Man Faces Attempted Murder Charge in Annapolis Stabbing (southernmarylandchronicle.com) — Annapolis residents should know that county police arrested a 26-year-old local man after a Sept. 19 stabbing on Epping Forest Road that left another man hospitalized but in stable condition. Detectives quickly identified the suspect, obtained a warrant, and took him into custody near Forest Drive and Solomons Island Road, and they're still asking anyone with information to contact investigators or the anonymous tip line.
   

• Eastport Residents Protest Mercedes Renovation, Question City's Approval Process (eyeonannapolis.net) — Eastport neighbors are protesting the dramatic black-and-gray makeover of Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis, saying the city's approval process—not just the dealership—deserves scrutiny.
