PG County Man Charged in Annapolis Pharmacy: Police
An Upper Marlboro man reportedly grabbed cash out of the register at a Rite Aid Pharmacy.

A Prince George’s County man faces theft charges for allegedly grabbing cash out of a cash register in an Annapolis pharmacy.
Anne Arundel County Police were called to the Rite Aid Pharmacy in the 2000 block of West Street in Annapolis about 11 a.m. Sunday. A store employee told officers a man approached the service counter and pretended to make a small purchase.

Once the cash register drawer opened, the suspect reportedly lunged forward and grabbed cash from the drawer. The cashier attempted to stop the suspect; however, a physical struggle ensued. The suspect overpowered the cashier and fled with money from the cash register.
Based on information provided by the victim and witnesses, detectives were able to develop a viable suspect. The suspect was located by detectives in Prince George’s County and arrested without incident.

Antonio Anthony Adams, 47, of 13809 Willoughby Road in Upper Marlboro, was charged with robbery and theft under $1,000, according to police.
A booking photo of the suspect is not being released at this time because or the ongoing investigation, police said.
