Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Human Remains
The Anne Arundel County Police Department believes the human remains found in two locations in Glen Burnie belong to a woman aged 25 to 35.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County Police are urging the public to report any information that could be help identify a body found in Glen Burnie on Sept. 30. A maintenance worker in the area happened upon the body in a wooded area along Elvaton Road near Silent Breeze Court. Additional remains were found Oct. 1 in the 400 block of Glen Mar Road.
An autopsy was conducted Oct. 3 of the remains found in both locations, leading police to believe the victim may be a female and has been deceased for several weeks. The remains appear to be from the same body. Additional DNA testing will help determine the relation of the remains. Officials believe the remains belong to a female age 25 to 35, approximately 5'1 and who was missing several teeth. A light-colored tank top was recovered from the remains, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
