Police Share Photo of Armed Robbery Suspect

An armed man fired a handgun while stealing a cell phone Saturday afternoon, and Annapolis Police hope a photo of the suspect they’ve shared will lead to an arrest.

The robbery took place about 4 p.m. in the 900 block of Forest Hills Avenue, police say.

While the robber fired a handgun, no one was struck during the incident.

The victim reported that the suspect is an African-American man last seen wearing a red, hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants with a brown leather belt, and gray New Balance tennis shoes.
