Reminder From AACPS On School Schedule For Tuesday, Jan. 29

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open on time on Tuesday, Jan. 29. Schools will be dismissing two hours early, a previously scheduled event.

There will be no afternoon half-day pre-kindergarten or ECI sessions, and no afternoon sessions at the Centers of Applied Technology on Tuesday, according to officials, based on the calendar previously approved by the school board.

The calendar also calls for early dismissal on Wednesday, Jan. 30.

There is a winter weather advisory calling for up to 1 inch of snow from 3 p.m. to midnight on Tuesday, Jan. 29.

If weather forces a two-hour delay on either Jan. 29 or Jan. 30, all schools will open two hours late and close at their normal time to accommodate assessments.

Schools will be closed for students on Thursday, January 31, for semester break.
