Teen Hospitalized after Handgun Assault: Annapolis Police Reports

In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 243 calls for service and arrested 21 people.

First Degree Assault – 1000 block of Kensington Way – 01/25 at 9pm: On 02/05 an 18 year old male victim reported that he was struck in the head with the handle of a handgun by an adult male suspect he knows. The victim was hospitalized for his head injury from 01/29 to 02/02.
Trespass – 1300 block of Stonecreek Rd – 02/06 at 12:15am: The resident returned home and discovered Isiah Crowner, 24, of Annapolis outside her sliding glass door on her fenced side porch. The resident does not know Crowner. Crowner fled the area, but officers located him at Gemini Dr and Hilltop La. Crowner was arrested and charged with trespassing on private property. He was issued a criminal citation and released.

Theft – 100 block of Quiet Waters Pl – 02/05 from 1pm to 7pm: Two packages were stolen from outside the home after they were delivered.
Neighborhood Watch Meeting — The next Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 10 from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. This meeting’s speaker is Detective Tom Pyles and the topic will be child abuse investigation. Food will be served so please RSVP to Cpl.
