UPDATE: All Westbound Bay Bridge Lanes Reopened
All westbound lanes of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge are open again after a crash, authorities say.

(Updated at 8:45 p.m.) ANNAPOLIS, MD — The holiday travel weekend has gotten off to a rough start with a crash closing the westbound lanes of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge for several hours Friday evening, officials say. The Maryland Transportation Authority said on Twitter about 8:35 p.m. that all the westbound lanes of US 50/301 on the bridge had reopened.
Authorities had planned to start two-way traffic on the bridge's eastbound span, but according to the Maryland Transportation Authority crash reconstruction was cleared so westbound lanes could reopen. Two-way traffic was not be put on the eastbound bridge as originally planned.
Delays of roughly 2.5 miles were reported about 6:3o p.m. and drivers were told to use exit 39A at Castle Marina Road.
