Tree Trimmer Dies After Falling 60 Feet In Crownsville: Officials

A tree trimmer suffered a heart attack and could not be revived after falling 60 feet from a tree he was working on in Crownsville.

CROWNSVILLE, MD — A member of a tree-trimming crew has died after falling 60 feet from a tree on which he was working at a home in Crownsville Monday. The accident occurred at approximately 10:44 a.m. Oct. 14 at the home located at 303 Ashton Forest Lane. The man, who was believed to be in his 20s, suffered a heart attack after falling, officials said.

His co-workers did not see the fall, they told officials with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate him, but could not. The incident has been forwarded to the state occupational safety and health division.
