Two Rewards Offered to Catch Bank Robbery Suspect
A man tried to rob a Glen Burnie credit union last week, but left without money, police say.
Two groups are offering rewards to help catch the man who tried to rob a Glen Burnie credit union on Nov. 17, authorities said.
The Navy Federal Credit Union, 6651 Ritchie Hwy. North, was targeted by a man with a handgun who approached the teller and demanded money. The suspect ultimately fled the bank without any money.
Anne Arundel County Police officers and the Aviation Unit searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The robber is described as a white man in his mid 20s, with a medium build and some type of tattoo to the back of his right hand and possibly a tattoo under one of his eyes. Police released surveillance images of the suspect on Monday.
The Maryland Association for Bank Security offered up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the pictured subject responsible for this offense.
