Anne Arundel County Police say after an argument a wife laced her husband's prescriptions with bug spray.

A Brooklyn woman has been charged with allegedly lacing her husband’s heart medication with Raid bug spray after an argument.
Anne Arundel County Police say Sandra Jeane Skyrczuk, 49, of 39th Avenue in Brooklyn Park faces several charges in the domestic assault.
Officers were called to the couple’s home about 8:30 p.m. Dec. 8 by Skyrczuk’s husband of 22 years.

The victim, 48, told police he argued with his wife over her drug use, then went to a family member’s house for a short period of time.
When he returned, he got ready for bed by preparing to take his prescribed medication. When he opened the bottle, he saw pills sticking together and a residue on the pills. The man also smelled an odor of bug spray, police say.

Sandra Skyrczuk was arrested searched by a female officer at the police station, who reportedly found a heart pill in the suspect’s pocket. During an interview with a detective, Skyrczuk admitted to lacing her husband’s pills with Raid in order to make him ill.
Skyrczuk was charged with poisoning, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
