Woman Sought For Attempting To Rob Annapolis Bank
Anne Arundel County police said the attempted robbery happened Thursday at a Wells Fargo bank in Annapolis.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — Anne Arundel County police are searching for a woman they say attempted to rob an Annapolis bank.
According to police, the attempted robbery occurred around 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Wells Fargo Bank on Jennifer Road. Police said the suspect walked into the bank, told employees she had a gun and demanded money.
Police said no gun was displayed during the incident. The teller denied the woman's demands, prompting her to leave the bank.

Police described the suspect as a Black female in her mid-30s. She was approximately 5-feet 5-inches tall and was wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans, and a green and black cap.
