The North Annapolis Sports Organization (NASO) had a great opening to the field hockey season, with wins for both the pee wee and middie teams. Coach Yvette Davis, in her first game as head coach, was thrilled with her pee wee team's performance on Sept. 11 at Rolling Knolls Elementary (RKE). NASO was victorious over the St. Mary's Hockey Heroes. The NASO pee wees have their next game on Sept. 13 against the Green Hornets Seven Sisters at RKE.

Also on Sept. 11, the NASO middies beat the Crofton Red team, 3-0, on the turf field at Annapolis High School. For the majority of the game, NASO was able to keep the ball on the offensive end of the field. They scored two goals in the first half, with the second goal at the end of the half right as time ran out. They were able to add to their lead with a goal in the second half. With several players new to the game this year, the NASO middies show a great deal of promise. They play again on Sept. 13 against the Green Hornets Storm at North County High School.
