Pasadena Crash Leaves 2 Dead, 2 Hospitalized After Cars Collide Head-On: Police

A head-on crash in Pasadena left two dead and two hospitalized, police said. Officers released the names of the late victims.

PASADENA, MD —Two people died and two were hospitalized after a weekend crash in Pasadena, county police said.

Officers identified the late victims as Pasadena residents 19-year-old Ronald Bees IV and 18-year-old Alissia Hedrick.

Authorities said Bees was driving a 2008 Ford Focus east in the 4600 block of Mountain Road around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

The sedan crossed the double yellow lines and collided head-on with a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, police said.

Officers said medics pronounced Bees and Hedrick dead on the scene. Hedrick was in the front passenger seat.

Authorities said the back-seat passenger, an unidentified 15-year-old, went to a hospital with critical and life-threatening injuries.

The Jeep driver also went to a hospital with serious injuries, police said. Officers expect that driver to survive.

Authorities did not speculate what caused the crash or who was at fault.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is still investigating.
