2019 Anne Arundel County Fall Events You Can't Miss

The month of October is synonymous with apples, pumpkins and a few fun events for all ages to celebrate fall across Anne Arundel County.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — As summer unofficially ends with Labor Day, fall festivals abound across Anne Arundel County. There are craft fairs, pumpkin decorating, nature scavenger hunts, live music and more planned in the area. Below are just a few of the fall festivals in the area.

  • Homestead Garden's 36th Annual Fall Festival will have fun in the barnyard, a corn maze and pumpkin patch. The ongoing event begins Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at its Davidsonville location and runs weekends through Oct. 27. There will be activities, rides and an assortment of attractions.
  • The Fall Festival hosted by Opportunity Builders Inc. in Millersville will take place Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 8855 Veterans Highway in Millersville. Guests will enjoy sampling food trucks, perusing vendors and checking out the craft show. There will be music, pumpkin decorating and more.
  • Fall Fest at Market Space - Historic Downtown Annapolis happens to be the perfect spot for an afternoon of fun at this block party planned for Sept. 22. The event begins at noon with live music, food and drink specials from local eateries, face painting and more and runs until 6 p.m.
  • Historic Hancock's Resolution Fall Harvest Festival - Families can build a scarecrow, bob for apples, make cornmeal and toe-tap to folk music performed by Red Crow on Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be musket firing demonstrations, crafts, bee keeping and a harvest dinner.
  • The Fall Festival at Annapolis Maritime Museum and Education Center Oct. 15 offers fun for kids who will embark upon a scavenger hunt at Back Creek Nature Park to find clues as to how animals and plants prepare for the fall season, experiment with leaves to learn why they change colors, create fall-themed art and make then eat pumpkin pie.
  • Maryland Avenue Fall Festival/Halloween on the Avenue - Hosted by Maryland Avenue and State Circle Association along with the Downtown Annapolis Partnership, guests to the Maryland Avenue Fall Festival/Halloween on the Avenue will delight in this annual event planned for Oct. 20 from Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Maryland Avenue between State Circle and King George Street. The Maryland Avenue Fall Festival is one of the longest running in the state. There will be fall treats, costume fun, music, performances and an assortment of vendors.
  • The Fall Harvest Festival at Langton Green Community Farm in Millersville Oct. 26 will feature seasonal food, festive activities, arts and crafts, live music and vendors.
