4 Pasadena Residents Arrested in Drug Raid

Anne Arundel County police seized LSD, crack cocaine and weapons in a recent narcotics raid at a Pasadena house.

PASADENA, MD — A search of a Pasadena home on Tuesday by Anne Arundel County Police narcotics officers led to the seizure of cocaine and marijuana, and the arrest of four Pasadena residents.

The raid in the 2000 block of Kurtz Avenue in Pasadena uncovered powder cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and a large amount of drug paraphernalia used to distribute narcotics (i.e. packaging materials and digital scales), and several firearms, including a short-barrel shotgun were located.

Four suspects were arrested on multiple drug charges:

  • Cory Wayne Pyle, 43, of the 2000 block of Kurtz Avenue
  • Cory Wayne Diffenderfer, 21, of the 2000 block of Kurtz Avenue
  • James Anthony Perry, 41, of the 2000 block of Kurtz Avenue
  • Angelina Marie Doonis, 18, of the 2000 block of Kurtz Avenue

All four suspects were charged with the following:

  • Possession with intent to distribute cocaine
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Manufacture CDS marijuana
  • Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of firearm in connection with drug trafficking crime
  • Two counts of possession of CDS paraphernalia

In addition, Pyle was charged with possession of a firearm while prohibited and possession of a sawed shotgun; Perry was charged with possession of CDS LSD and possession of a sawed shotgun.

Drugs seized include:

  • Four baggies of powder cocaine, total approximate weight 60 grams, estimated street value of $6,000
  • Three containers of crack cocaine, total approximate weight 23 grams, estimated street value of $2,300
  • One marijuana plant, total approximate size 56 inches
  • One tab of LSD, total approximate weight 1.5 grams, estimated street value of $20

Weapons seized include:

  • Three rifles
  • Two legal length shotguns
  • One sawed-off shotgun (illegal short barrel)
  • One .22-caliber revolver
  • One .22-caliber semi-automatic handgun
