AACPS Dancers Earn All-State Honors

Fourteen dancers from the Anne Arundel County Public Schools have earned All-State honors. Another dancer was selected as Honorable Mention.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Fourteen dancers from the Anne Arundel County Public Schools dance program have been named All-State Dancers, ranking them among the 26 best in the state. The All-State dancers were selected via audition by a panel of professional dancers and college/university dance faculty. Judging was based on technique, musicality, professionalism, performance, attitude and likelihood of future success in dance.

All-State dancers were honored at the conclusion of the Maryland Public High School Dance Showcase evening concert earlier this month at Goucher College. Maggie Kubista of Severna Park High School earned Honorable Mention All-State honors.
