The SPCA of Anne Arundel County is offering a special for the adoption of cats age six months and older Dec. 13-15.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — The SPCA of Anne Arundel County hopes to brighten the holidays for cat lovers and its feline shelter residents by offering 50 percent off the adoption of a cat six months and older Dec. 13-15. All cats six months and older will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, ready to head out to their new home.

Anyone who takes advantage of this special offer and give a shelter cat a new home should remember that a cat's curiosity during the holidays can also get them into trouble. Pet owners are reminded that the following holiday plants are poisonous for cats: poinsettias, mistletoe, lilies and holly.
