Anne Arundel County Fair 2018: Schedule, Tickets, Hours
The Anne Arundel County Fair 2018 runs through Sunday, Sept. 16, with rides, 4-H exhibits, and more; it's on despite Hurricane Florence.

CROWNSVILLE, MD — The 2018 Anne Arundel County Fair is under way through Sunday, Sept. 16, as planned even if Hurricane Florence brings some rain to the area, organizers say. Events include Friday's Dance Night with Oracle, a rock and roll oldies show, tractor pull, pig races, a magic act and more. Friday is also Children's Day at the fair from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; kids age 8 and younger get in free, while kids 9 and older pay $5.
The fair held at 1450 General's Highway (Route 178) in Crownsville dates back to 1953. The fair includes carnival rides and games, animal exhibits, monster trucks, pony rides, garden tractor pulls, pig races, pie-eating contests, hamster ball and camel rides, and more.
Crowd favorites include a cutest kid contest, an antique tractor pull, and 4-H and FFA exhibits. Get wristband and tickets at the fair's Information Booth.
