Anne Arundel County Libraries Host Events For GLBT Book Month
Libraries across Anne Arundel County will be holding a variety of events for GLBT Book Month including a film festival and storytime.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD – The Anne Arundel County Public Library will be hosting a variety of events in June to mark GLBT Book Month. Starting Saturday, June 1, there will be a book speed dating activity at 2 p.m. at Discoveries: The Library At The Mall. Kids are invited to make rainbow slime on Wednesday, June 5, at 2:30 p.m. at the Riviera Beach Library. Teens are encouraged to attend a film festival on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the Odenton Library.
Everyone can stop by the Glen Burnie Library on Thursday, June 13, at 1 p.m. to watch the movie Love, Simon. The adult book club will be reading Tomorrow Will Be Different by Sarah McBride and meeting Thursday, June 13, at 2 p.m. at the Crofton Library. The Brooklyn Park Library will be hosting award-winning actress Marian Licha who will bring Frida Kahlo to life in an unconventional art class for ages 14 and older.
