Anne Arundel County Libraries Host Events For GLBT Book Month

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD – The Anne Arundel County Public Library will be hosting a variety of events in June to mark GLBT Book Month. Starting Saturday, June 1, there will be a book speed dating activity at 2 p.m. at Discoveries: The Library At The Mall. Kids are invited to make rainbow slime on Wednesday, June 5, at 2:30 p.m. at the Riviera Beach Library. Teens are encouraged to attend a film festival on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the Odenton Library.

Everyone can stop by the Glen Burnie Library on Thursday, June 13, at 1 p.m. to watch the movie Love, Simon. The adult book club will be reading Tomorrow Will Be Different by Sarah McBride and meeting Thursday, June 13, at 2 p.m. at the Crofton Library. The Brooklyn Park Library will be hosting award-winning actress Marian Licha who will bring Frida Kahlo to life in an unconventional art class for ages 14 and older. Several libraries across Anne Arundel County are hosting rainbow family storytime including:
