Anne Arundel Roads Closed Due To Storm: Police

Authorities are warning residents of road closures due to heavy rains. See what roads are closed here.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — County and state authorities are warning residents of several road closures due to the storm.

The Maryland Department of Transportation website reports these roads are closed, all due to high water:

  • MD 176 East/West at Central Avenue
  • MD 214 East/West between Beards Point Road and Rolling Road
  • MD 450 East/West at Rutland Road
  • MD 648 North/South between Nursery Road and Manoff Road

Annapolis emergency officials said Dock Street has been closed and Compromise Street has been reduced to one lane.

  • Furnace Branch Road @ I-97 overpass (reopened)
  • Dorsey Rd @ Route 648

Eastern District:

  • None

Western District:

  • Various locations along 450
  • Dicus Mill Road @ bridge over Severn Run
  • Gambrills Road @ Sleepy Hollow Road (one lane closed)

Southern District:

  • Central Avenue @ Fern Hill Court (reopened)
  • Brick Church Road between Rt. 2 and Rt. 214 (tree in roadway)
