Arundel Mills to Host Family-Friendly Halloween Events
The festivities include a Boo Bash in the food court and trick-or-treating to support the Fort Meade Alliance Foundation.

Arundel Mills outlet mall will offer area families a safe place to take part in Halloween activities with two spooktacular events.
The Simon Kidgits Club will presents its annual Boo Bash on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Food Court. Plus, local children can collect candy while supporting the Fort Meade Alliance Foundation during a mall-wide trick-or-treat effort on Halloween.

The Simon Kidgits Club will recognize October as Bully Prevention Month in association with ‘Malls & Retailers Unite Against Bullying’ and Captain McFinn, a role model who promotes social and emotional development in children through live virtual playdates, online games, apps and resources for parents and teachers. Families will be encouraged to download The Bully Free Zone, a free app released by Captain McFinn, filled with fun, educational activities, a new McFinn cartoon and a chance for families to win a free iPad Air.
Arundel Mills will have several activity stations and games for children to enjoy, including create your own monster mask, make a spooky story and other Halloween crafts.

In addition, the mall will host a special mall-wide trick-or-treat effort on Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. benefitting the Fort Meade Alliance Foundation. For a $5 donation, children will receive a bag filled with sweet treats and store coupons to continue trick-or-treating at stores throughout the mall. Participating retailers will have a Halloween sticker in their window.
“Arundel Mills is a vital partner in the Fort Meade Community and we appreciate the opportunity to enhance our mission through this event,” said Deon Viergutz, president of the FMA Foundation. “The funds raised on Halloween night will support the foundation’s important education efforts and our valuable Military & Family initiatives that serve the true heroes of our nation.”
In order to promote a safe environment during the festivities, Arundel Mills asks that costumes are family friendly, appropriate and worn only during event times. Toy weapons will not be allowed on premise. Only children 12 years old and younger will be allowed to wear masks and face paint.
