CURTIS BAY, MD — An Anne Arundel County restaurant vowed to recover after it burned this weekend.
The Curtis Bay location of Beefalo Bob's suffered $1.5 million in damages in Sunday's two-alarm fire, officials estimated. The pit beef business plans to continue serving customers from its other eatery in Anne Arundel County.
"We are so appreciative of the well wishes we have received and are dedicated to continuing to serve our customers and community moving forward," Beefalo Bob's said Monday on Facebook.

The focus turns to the Beefalo Bob's Carryout eatery in Pasadena. The business will continue to fulfill catering orders out of that stand, located at 107 Mountain Road.
"We will never give up," Owner Carole Dimartino told WMAR-2 News Baltimore. "We serve the community, we do weddings, we do parties, we do everything and we just love doing that. It's our life, it's been our life."

An Anne Arundel County firefighter suffered minor burns during the accidental blaze, authorities said. Doctors treated and released the crew member from an unidentified hospital.
Officials said a worker at Beefalo Bob's was evaluated for smoke inhalation and released on the scene.
The exact area of origin is unknown, county fire department spokesperson Lt. Jennifer Macallair told Patch.
Workers called 911 after the smoke detectors sounded around 11:50 a.m., Macallair said. The Baltimore Sun reported that crews controlled the flames within 45 minutes.
The Baltimore City Fire Department assisted the Anne Arundel County Fire Department's response, The Sun said.
"We would like to thank our Anne Arundel County Fire Department for their bravery, and our community for the outpouring of love and support," Beefalo Bob's said on Facebook.
