The Chaney Foundation awarded a $15,000 grant to support the Chesapeake Kids Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care Program. The grant is funded by the Chaney Enterprises Foundation Fund at the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County.

CFAAC President and CEO Mary Spencer, Chaney Foundation Vice President R. G. Lare and CFAAC Grants Manager Kristen Krall paid a visit to Hospice of the Chesapeake’s John & Cathy Belcher Campus in Pasadena on July 17 to deliver the check to support the parents, siblings and family members of children and teens living with a life-limiting condition.

Chief Advancement Officer Shauna Chabot expressed the organization’s gratitude for the substantial grant. “This generous gift can help our Chesapeake Kids team continue to bring the kind of quality of life every child deserves while offering hope for their families,” Chabot said.
