Kaity Wilson, of Pasadena, plays the part of Mrs. Potts in the theater-on-ice production of Beauty and the Beast on Ice March 24 and 25 at the Gardens Ice House, Laurel, MD.Wilson, 21, a senior at the University of Maryland Baltimore Campus, is a gold medalist at State Games of America and Internatinal Skating Institute competitions. She is veteran performer in Gardens Figure Skating Club ice shows.
The Gardens Figure Skating Club’s eighth annual spring ice show is a figure skating portrayal of the classic French fairy tale. It features over 60 skaters, age 3 to 55, performing to music from the 1991 Disney hit movie and the long running Broadway musical adaptation. Skaters range in skill level from beginner to national level artistic, theater on ice, and synchronized skating competitors. Tickets are on sale at the Gardens Ice House-- $10 for general admission with a limited number of special reserved seats available for $15.
