Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks serves millions of residents and visitors annually through a wide variety of services and programs. Its primary focus is to provide comprehensive recreational programs for residents and safeguard valuable land through the maintenance and management of over 160 parks and natural areas. The department manages specialized recreational facilities, including two swim centers, two golf courses, three ice rinks, a baseball stadium, a softball complex, and programs tailored to diverse needs ranging from school-age childcare to adaptive recreation. It also cares for thousands of acres of land, encompassing community parks, greenways, archaeological sites, environmental and historical preserves, and large regional parks spanning several hundred acres. Its mission is to create opportunities that allow individuals to enjoy life, explore nature, and restore their health and well-being. A comedy and music Christmas show featuring Hack and Slash with special guest comedian Kyle Cease.  The audience is encouraged to dress in their pajamas and bring clothing/food donations to the show.  The performers have a goal of providing 500 pounds of food and clothing to local charities.  Shows are Friday, December 17th and Saturday, December 18th at 8pm.  In addition, a matinee show will be offered Sunday, December 19th at 2pm.  For more information, visit hackandslash.com
