The High Point Community will hold their Annual Block Party this Saturday, from 1pm until 6pm at the Community Beach and Boat Ramp. High Point residents, family and friends are invited to attend. There is no admission charge, It's going to be a lovely day, and there are plenty of activities for everyone. The kids can enjoy a full day of fun sponsored by the Girl Scouts, including face painting, crafting, relays dancing, and other organized activities.
We will have a supervised 2 story moon bounce for the children to enjoy, and every child will receive a free grab bag of candy, a helium balloon and the little ones will get a free pull at the duck pond, where every duck is a winner. All of this is free of charge, courtesy of the High Point Improvement Association.
There will be moderately priced food and beverages and a snow ball machine if you need to cool off. All proceeds will directly benefit the Boat Ramp Repair Fund. There will be music, a baked goods sales table, baggo games, and a large bistro area where everyone is invited to sit a while and enjoy our lovely community property on a fine spring day. You can have a bite to eat and meet some of your neighbors.
We will have a 50/50, which will be drawn at 5pm. You must be present to win. There are several additional prizes that will be awarded after the 50/50 is drawn, so you will have a second chance if you don't win the big money. Again, all proceeds directly benefit the Boat Ramp Repair Fund.
