HERE'S WHAT THE FOLKS ARE SAYING RETRO DELUXE:

The Sunday Night Blues Project named Retro Deluxe's Watermelon Tea the #4 Blues Release of 2010 - "this one is more fun than anything else I heard all year. On the Rinkled Rooster label." Bruce - The Sunday Night Blues Project

"Retro Deluxe is simply put, one of the best Rockabilly Blues Bands out there today, and their amazingly powerful new release, "Watermelon Tea", is all the evidence needed to prove that point." John Vermilyea -Blues Underground Network

"Chuggling boogie like it used to be, blasting out into the night from roadhouses at the edge of town or border radio stations catching the ear of malcontent kids that wanted to break out of the 50s cocoon." Chris Spector - Midwest Record

"Retro Deluxe have captured a sound and a feeling that is rarely heard these days. From the rockabilly of Sun to the blues of Chicago to the psychedelia of the Sixties, "Watermelon Tea" is a unique find indeed, and one that all blues fans will definitely....ENJOY!!!" Sheryl and Don Crow - Nashville Blues Society

"There are some albums that totally transplant you from where you’re listening to a whole other place. Retro Deluxe’s Watermelon Tea (Rinkled Rooster) is such an album. By the end of the first song, you are back in the 50’s, rocking out to some of the strongest rockabilly blues (bluesabilly?) that’s been heard in some time." Graham Clarke - Blues Bytes
