Fire Destroys 35-Foot Boat At Pasadena Marina

PASADENA, MD — A 35-foot boat was destroyed by fire Sunday at Blake's Bar Harbor Marina in Pasadena, Anne Arundel County fire officials said. Several residents living near the marina called 911 about 3:51 a.m. to report the fire at 208 Bar Harbor Road.

Firefighters arrived to find a boat tied to the pier fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished about 6 a.m. The scene was then turned over to the Maryland Department of the Environment.

An estimated dollar loss for the boat has not been released, and a preliminary cause of the fire has not been determined, authorities said.

Crews from the Baltimore City Fire Department helped fight the fire.
