Golfing, Boating, Tennis Now Allowed In Anne Arundel County

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Effective Thursday at noon, Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks reopened Compass Pointe Golf Course. Tee times will be spread out to enable social distancing. While golf carts won't be available until Friday, walkers were welcomed Thursday. Golfers are encouraged to wear face coverings.

Recreational boating will now be permitted starting Thursday and boaters must follow current social distancing requirements. Tennis courts also have been reopened as long as social distancing protocols are followed. Other public county spaces detailed in Gov. Larry Hogan's order remain closed, however, including sports fields, dog parks, beaches and playgrounds.
