Man Armed With Box Cutter Robs Woman At ATM: Police

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Pasadena man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a woman while armed with a box cutter at a Glen Burnie Wells Fargo Bank, police said.

The 32-year-old female victim told police she was withdrawing money from the bank's outdoor ATM at 6708 Ritchie Hwy. when the suspect approached her. The man displayed a box cutter and demanded money, police said. The woman complied and the suspect fled the scene with the money in a white truck.

Officers observed the man's truck in the area of D Street and 9th Street in Pasadena and stopped him. The driver—Jesse Ray Werner, 29—was positively identified as the suspect and arrested, police said.

Police said they also located the box cutter in Werner's truck.
