Man Shot, Hospitalized By Unknown Person In Pasadena: Police

A 19-year-old man was shot and hospitalized in Pasadena, police said. The victim reported that he doesn't know where the gunshot came from.

PASADENA, MD — A man was shot and hospitalized Wednesday in Pasadena, county police said. Officers expect the victim to survive.

Authorities said they heard the report of a shooting in the 7800 block of Huff Court around 2:50 p.m.

Police said they found the 19-year-old victim in an upstairs bedroom with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The man told officers that he was behind the home when he heard a gunshot from an unknown area and then noticed his injury, a press release said.

Authorities reported that they searched the area and spoke with several people outside who said they did not hear any shots. Police did not find any damage or spent shell casings. Officers do not have a suspect description.
