MD Man Charged With Waving Gun During Road Rage Dispute On I-97
Reginald Johnson of Baltimore County faces felony charges stemming from the July 17 incident that occurred on Interstate 97.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — A Maryland man is facing gun and assault charges following a road rage-fueled dispute in Anne Arundel County, according to state police.
Reginald Johnson, 37, of Gwynn Oak, was charged with felony assault, use of a gun in the commission of a felony and other related offenses following the July 17 incident on Interstate 97.
According to state police, Johnson was arrested after someone contacted authorities and claimed he pulled out a gun during a roadway dispute near Interstate 895.

Police did not release additional details about the incident.
Johnson was arrested Wednesday. Authorities also said they found a loaded gun in the vehicle he was driving before his arrest.

Johnson is currently held without bond at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center. He faces a mandatory five-year prison sentence if convicted.
