PASADENA, MD — A new fire station held its grand opening Wednesday in Pasadena. The facility, Jacobsville Fire Station 10, is located at 3700 Mountain Road.

At 12,000 square feet, the new station is more than double the size of its 5,000-square-foot predecessor.

The last station was previously the old Jacobsville Elementary School. That school was converted into a public safety complex in the 1980s. It then housed both the Jacobsville Fire Station and the Eastern District Police Station for over 30 years.
