Nominees Sought For William Donald Schaefer Helping People Award

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Nominations are being accepted now through Sept. 30 for the William Donald Schaefer Helping People Award, which is presented by the Comptroller of Maryland. Individuals and organizations across the state, including in Anne Arundel County, are eligible to be nominated.

Those who exemplify Schaefer's lifelong commitment to helping people are past winners. Nominees should demonstrate how they improve the community, how they solve a citizen problem through effective government intervention, how they directly aid the most vulnerable in society or how they created a public/private partnership designed to improve the lives of Marylanders.
