Thanksgiving Parade Comes To Pasadena This Weekend, Will Collect Food Donations
A Thanksgiving parade is coming to Pasadena this weekend. Businesses will collect food donations. A few roads will be closed on the route.

PASADENA, MD — The Pasadena Business Association will host its 25th annual Thanksgiving parade this Sunday. Establishments will collect food donations for pantries during the event. A few roads will be closed that afternoon.
"The theme of the parade is to express the real spirit of the holidays, being thankful for what we have, and to share with the less fortunate in our community," the business association said on its website.

Planners will give awards for these floats:
- Best business entry
- Most patriotic entry
- Best youth group entry
- Best musical or performance entry
- Best community entry
- Most original entry
The parade starts at 2 p.m. at Tick Neck Park next to Northeast High School. Participants will head down Tick Neck Road and make a right onto Mountain Road. The pack will then turn right onto Outing Avenue. The route ends at Northeast Middle School.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department announced that it will close these roadways from about 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Tick Neck Road between Edwin Raynor Boulevard and Mountain Road
- Mountain Road between Tick Neck Road and Outing Avenue
- Outing Avenue between Northeast Middle School and Mountain Road
Officers will be on hand to help with traffic. Authorities warned drivers to expect delays along the route and the surrounding streets.
