Pasadena Driver Arrested In Head-On Crash For Impaired Driving
State police say a Pasadena woman was impaired when she drove the wrong way and crashed head-on into an Arnold man early Saturday.
PASADENA, MD — Maryland State Police say a Pasadena woman was impaired when she drove the wrong way and crashed head-on into an Arnold man early Saturday in Anne Arundel County. Londin Poling, 26, of Pasadena was arrested at the scene and charged with driving under the influence and other traffic-related charges.
According to a police report, shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday, Poling was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of I-97 near New Cut Road when she crashed into oncoming traffic. A state trooper at the scene said Poling showed signs of impairment.
Investigators believe Poling's 2014 Volkswagen Jetta crashed head-on into a 2019 Ford Fiesta driven by Jamal McCullough, 26, of Arnold. McCullough was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Bayview for treatment of injuries suffered in the crash, according to a news release.

A second crash happened when a third vehicle, a 2001 Jeep, struck Poling’s Volkswagen. The Jeep was driven by Casey Reid, 27, of Huntingtown, who was not hurt in the accident, authorities said.
The Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney has been notified of the crash.

According to Maryland’s Toward Zero Deaths Program, options include:
- Designate a sober driver
- Use public transportation
- Call a rideshare or taxi service
- Call a friend
- Stay the night
- Be the designated driver
