Pasadena Home Sustains $400,000 Damage In Fire
A home at 1217 June Way in Pasadena caught fire June 4, sustaining $400,000 damage. Six people have since been displaced.
PASADENA, MD – Firefighters with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1217 June Way in Pasadena the afternoon of June 4. The two-story single-family home sustained $400,000 worth of damage. It took almost 50 firefighters to extinguish the fire that originated on the front porch.
A passerby reported the fire, as did someone within the home who managed to evacuate everyone. Firefighters on the scene reported “heavy fire” spreading from the front porch area to the attic and roof area. The exact cause of the fire is under investigation. Four adults and two minors residing in the home have been displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
