Pasadena Pharmacy Robberies: 2 Laurel Men Arrested
Anne Arundel County Police have arrested two Laurel men who allegedly robbed two Pasadena pharmacies at gunpoint.
PASADENA, MD — Anne Arundel County Police have arrested two men accused of robbing two Pasadena pharmacies at gunpoint less than 15 minutes apart nearly four months ago. Detectives say suspects Jawanza Carter and Arthur Prince were also linked to robberies in Annapolis and Prince George’s County. Both suspects have been charged with the two Pasadena robberies an are being held at Jennifer Road Detention Center.
The first robbery was reported at Pace Pharmacy, 8039 Ritchie Highway, about 11:40 a.m. on Aug. 25, where employees said two suspects entered the store, showed a handgun, and demanded medication and money.
Then at 11:52 a.m., employees at Pasadena Pharmacy, 2932 Mountain Road, reported two suspects entered the store with a handgun, and stole medication and money.

Jawanza D. Carter, 21, of the 9200 block of Cherry Lane in Laurel, and Arthur Prince, 19, of the 600 block of Eighth Street in Laurel, both face robbery charges, police say.
